Trust and Never Doubt

Good morning! Today's power scripture comes from John 20:25: "The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord. “So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”

Disciple Thomas would not believe that Christ had risen from the dead unless he could have tangible proof.  Although eye witnesses and people he could trust told of the event, he was not convinced.  We are exercising great faith when we stand on God's promises even when it seems doubtful and beyond rational thought.  As Jesus healed many who came to him of various conditions, he would often ask -"do you believe?".  Can you see yourself in the place of your victory? Or do you need everything in hand before you are assured that the desires of your heart could actually happen?  God has so many wonderful things in store for us and in his infinite wisdom he stirs up a yearning in our hearts of the possibilities of our future. These desires when aligned with God's will and sprinkled with a measure of faith, will usher in unlimited success.

Don't wait around for proof that God has a special plan for helping you conquer debt; or start your own business; or conquer a fitness or health challenge. Listen to the testimonies of members of the body of Christ who acknowledge how God has risen in their lives and  conquered death, hell and the grave to give all of us victory. Stand on his word that his nail scarred hands and pierced side are receipts for your desires -stamped 'paid in full'.   Don't doubt! Trust and go for it!

Every day is a good day, it is up to us to make it a power.  Be blessed!  Dr. JoAnn
